A new study released by Credit Donkey has named Woodstock as the 9th best city for Young Adults in Georgia to live. The study looked at the 150 largest population centers across the state and took into account such factors as median pay for college graduates, the percent of residents between the age of 20 and 34 and safety.
The study cited the following statistics –
- Median Salary for College Graduates: $56,977
- Residents Aged 20-34: 22.1%
- Crime Rate per 1,000 Residents: 1.7
It also went on to note that, “With a farmer’s market, community concerts and downtown celebrations every Friday, this is a place to find real community.” It also went on to state that the best place for a young professional depends on a lot of things, from personal preferences for urban or rural living to job prospects in particular industries. But, assuming income, plenty of contact with other young people and safety are important to you, this list should offer a good place to start looking at Georgia communities.
