Third Annual Canes & Cocoa

December 2, 2013

Woodstock GA EventsBundle up the family and come out for a fun event at the Cherokee Recreation & Parks Agency (CRPA) largest playground.  The third annual Canes & Cocoa event will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Valley Playground located in JJ Biello Park at 610 Druw Cameron Drive in Woodstock, off Hwy 5.

The event for ages 1-10 and the hunts begin at 10am. Children will receive a special holiday bag and are then sent to hunt for candy canes and candy on the field and small and large playgrounds. The children will be separated into different age groups. Following the hunt, families can enjoy hot cocoa and holiday snacks in the pavilion and “sleigh” rides on the recreation department tractor.

There are even rumors that special guests may be in attendance. Who might they be? Maybe the Grinch? Santa’s Helpers? Santa? Who? Attend this fun family event to find out.

For more information on this event as well as other activities planned by the CRPA during the holidays and throughout the year, “LIKE” their Facebook page or visit their website at www.crpa.net
