Taste and Sound of Woodstock 2014

April 21, 2014

Woodstock EventsThe Taste & Sound of Woodstock 2014 will be held in the Park at City Center in Downtown Woodstock at 101 Arnold Mill Rd. on April 26 from 11-3. The annual will benefit the Woodstock High School marching band program.  It will be a fun-filled day with fantastic food from a wide variety of Woodstock’s finest restaurants, entertainment by local musicians and an opportunity to shop with local merchants.

Admission is free with tasting tickets packages starting at just $5.00. Enjoy tasting booths, cooking demos, live music, shopping, WellStar Kid’s Zone, and raffle prizes.

Scheduled entertainment includes Reinhardt University Jazz Ensemble, Kevin Dunbar, Luna & Sol, Chad Valentine, and the Woodstock High School Jazz Ensemble.

Presented by Main Street Woodstock proceeds will benefit the Woodstock Wolverine Band Boosters whose mission is to support the band program at Woodstock High School. They offer financial support through fund raising activities and provide adult volunteers to assist the WHS band students and directors.

They believe that the WHS band is an integral part of Woodstock High School and that the bands as well as the students individually represent the school and our community when they perform and travel.
