Founded in 2010 as the Woodstock Police Foundation, the foundation was reorganized in 2013 as the Woodstock Public Safety Foundation. This opened up opportunities to work with and assist the fire department.

The Woodstock Public Safety Foundation is dedicated to improving and maintaining the quality of life for the citizens of Woodstock and to make the communities of Woodstock a safer place to live and work through partnerships between the citizens, the Woodstock Police and Fire Departments.
