Shop Local for a Stress-Free Experience

November 21, 2017

By now, shopping for the holidays probably is in full swing. Woodstock offers a unique shopping experience in the historic setting of our downtown area. During a shopping trip to downtown Woodstock, you will find more than 30 unique shops and discover a wide range of items that make perfect gifts for the holidays. Woodstock ga

Not sure what to get? Downtown Dollars is the answer. This gift certificate is accepted at 40 businesses in Woodstock. Downtown Dollars can be purchased at the Woodstock Visitors Center (8588 Main St., open Monday-Saturday). The Visitors Center also has a great selection of locally themed gift items such as  Woodstock shirts, ornaments, magnets, art prints and much more.

Be sure to take advantage of the Woodstock Trolley to help you get around. The trolley is free to ride and has stops around downtown, at various parking locations in the area, Reformation Brewery, The Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta, and many other convenient stops. The Woodstock Trolley is a program of the Woodstock Downtown Development Authority. For more information on the trolley, be sure to check out www.woodstocktrolley.com.

Santa will be making several appearances at the Woodstock Visitors Center during December. For the all the dates Santa will be at the Woodstock Visitors Center, visit www.visitwoodstockga.com. There are also directories for shopping, dining and attractions, and a full calendar of events.
