Woodstock is celebrating the fall season and festively decorated for Halloween with all of the scarecrows lining the streets. The scarecrows are not the only thing that Woodstock and the surrounding areas have got going on to celebrate the fall! KidsFest
KidsFest is an annual event that takes place in the Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock. This festive Halloween event takes place each year on Halloween itself. This year KidsFest will be taking place from 3-7 p.m. Join the celebration with Woodstock residents as they bounce on moonwalks, enjoy a costume contest, participate in face painting, and dance and sing along with favorite tunes from a DJ. Ghost Tales and Trails –Elm Street Cultural Arts Village
The Elm Street Cultural Arts Village is once again getting in the spirit of Halloween as they present the POE Project for this year’s version of Ghost Tales and Trails. Recommended for those 8 years and older, this experience will allow you to follow the path around the Elm Street Event Green and outdoor stage while being entertained or spooked by the stagings of Poe’s writings. Berry Patch Farms
Located at 786 Arnold Mill Road in Woodstock, Berry Patch Farms offers hayrides and fall goodies including pumpkin pies, fried pies, apple cider, fried peanuts, and popcorn.

Big Springs Farms
This farm lies within the Hickory Flat community and offers pumpkins, hayrides, a corn maze, and more!

Burt’s Farm
Located in Dawsonville, Burt’s offers hayrides, pumpkin picking in a giant pumpkin patch, and a variety of fall harvest products in their country store.

Cagle’s Family Farm
At Cagle’s the fall means pumpkins, a corn maze, and baby animals! Visit Cagle’s online for details and hours of operation.
Halloween Happenings
Movie in the Park
KidsFest ends at 7 p.m., but that is the perfect time to meander to the outdoor movie theater that will also be set up in The Park at City Center. Watch a free viewing of How to Train Your Dragon while enjoying tasty Halloween candy.
Woodstock Christian Church
The Woodstock Christian Church Fall Festival will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. on Halloween. The event is free and open to the public.
The Side Fest at Sunnyside Church of God
