\"Woodstock<\/a>With the holiday season coming in to full swing, events in downtown Woodstock<\/a> continue up until shortly before Christmas and present opportunities for fun celebrating the holidays in a number of ways, no matter what your age.<\/p>\n

Two events involving Santa which would be perfect for the kids are scheduled or underway.<\/p>\n

Santa\u2019s Mailbox \u2013 <\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Have the kids drop off their letters to Santa in the North Pole Mailbox!\u00a0 The mailbox is set up in the gazebo at The Park at City Center (101 Arnold Mill Rd.) until Monday, December 16.\u00a0 Just before Christmas, they will receive a personalized letter back from Santa!\u00a0 Please check the magazine as there\u2019s specifics about what to include in the envelope like name, address etc.<\/p>\n

Santa at the Woodstock Visitors Center \u2013 <\/i><\/b><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n

Santa will be visiting the Woodstock Visitors Center <\/a>at 8588 Main St. located at Historic Dean\u2019s Store on Saturday, December 14 from 1pm to 2pm. Great chance for the kids to visit with Santa and have their picture taken with him. It is free to have a picture taken with Santa, but you must bring your own camera. For more info call 770-924-0406.<\/p>\n

The Downtown Woodstock Trolley is also back. The trolley will be running on December 6th-22nd, Fridays 5pm -10pm, Saturdays Noon to 10pm, and Sundays Noon to 10pm. The trolley will also run on Monday December 23rd Noon to 10pm and Tuesday December 24th Noon to 5pm.<\/p>\n

The trolley will be free to ride. The trolley\u2019s route will stop at the public parking lots around downtown Woodstock, making stops near popular restaurants and stores, and even makes a stop at the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta. On the two Saturdays leading up to Christmas, December 14 and 21, the event Girls Day Out will be something for those that find lunch and shopping more their style. ICE Martini Bar is partnering with neighboring boutiques to give shoppers a treat. Ladies can begin their Saturday with lunch enjoying sushi, tapas and martini specials. Those having lunch will receive a map of participating shops where if they present their lunch receipt they will receive exclusive shopping deals. Partnering retailers include \u2013 Brooklynn\u2019s Dismero, Rak Outfitters, Fashion Cupcake, Be You On Purpose, Dress Up and Holly Springs Jewelry.<\/p>\n

Maybe seeing a local production of Christmas classics is more what you are looking for.
