In our article on page 16, we discussed the importance of making sure your kids continue to read over the summer. To help you keep them engaged, we\u2019ve composed a list of highly anticipated children\u2019s books, young adult novels, and approved books for all ages this summer:<\/span><\/p>\n

Children\u2019s Books<\/b><\/h4>\n

\nThis follows the tale of two friends who make bubble-blowing a competition. When the competition goes south and they both lose, they work together to make the world\u2019s largest bubble. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cClark the Shark: Afraid of the Dark\u201d<\/i><\/b> Bruce Hale. <\/span>
\nClark the Shark is afraid of the dark. Clark is having his first sleepover when his friends start telling scary stories, so Clark makes up a little jingle to help him stay cool in front of his friends. Moral of the story: friends can help you conquer fears.<\/span><\/p>\n

YA<\/b><\/h4>\n

\"The<\/a>\u201c<\/b>My Kind of Crazy<\/i><\/b>\u201d<\/span> by Robin Reul<\/span>
\nThis one is already getting praise from the fans of John Green and Jennifer Niven. The story follows Hank Kirby, a guy who just can\u2019t seem to catch a break. He tried to ask a girl to prom with sparklers in her yard and accidentally almost burns down her house. On top of that, he befriends an aspiring pyromaniac Peyton Breedlove, creating a rather strange and challenging friendship<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>The Glittering Court<\/i><\/b>\u201d by Richelle Mead<\/span>
\nVampire Academy author Richelle Mead launches a new series beginning with \u201cThe Glittering Court.\u201d This series melds Elizabethan courts with the frontier worlds and a topping of romance to create an interesting storyline. Countess Adelaide escape her arranged marriage and now must begin lessons at \u201cThe Glittering Court\u201d, a business venture\/finishing school to survive in her new world. <\/span><\/p>\n

\nRegardless of how old your \u201cbaby\u201d is, if he or she is a fan of the Harry Potter series, rest assured this will be on a wish list. . The Cursed Child picks up after the bonus scene in Deathly Hallows Part 2 with Harry employed at the Ministry of Magic, married to Ginny and a father of 3. Both Harry and his middle son Albus struggle with their family legacy and against the darkness.<\/span><\/p>\n
