The heat is on in Georgia, but the soaring temperatures are not meant for keeping Georgians indoors all summer long. Check out these great summer activities in downtown Woodstock to get you out and get you social this summer!

July 3-Friday Night Live-Downtown Block Party

Join the celebration in downtown Woodstock for the monthly first Friday event, Friday Night Live. The theme for July is Downtown Block Party. In keeping up with most block party traditions there will be fantastic food, and plenty of activities to help kick off the Fourth of July weekend!Woodstock, GA Freedom Fest

July 4-Freedom Fest

A parade, live music, children’s activities, a variety of vendors, and the early morning Woodstock Freedom Run will keep you entertained throughout the day at the  Freedom Fest. Otherwise known as the City of Woodstock and Stars and Strikes Spectacular, this event is going to go out with a bang! The bang of fireworks that is as they shoot off over the Target off of 92 at dusk. See the flier to the right for more details!

July 11-Woodstock Summer Concert Series-Departure and Electric Avenue

The Journey Tribute Band & 80’s Synth/Pop Hits Band will be performing on July 11th during the 18th annual Woodstock Summer Concert Series. Grab your dancing shoes and lawn chair and all your friends and family for this free concert at the Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock.

Tuesdays and Saturdays in July-Woodstock Farmers Market

The Woodstock Farmer’s Market is open on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings throughout the month of July. Visit the Market Street location on Tuesdays from 4:30-7:30pm and on Saturdays from 8:30am-12pm for home grown produce and other goods.
