Holiday Tour of Homes-It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

November 7, 2014

The chilly temperatures and holiday displays at department stores are not the only things Woodstock residents will notice leading up to the holidays. It is time for the annual Holiday Tour of Homes. Take a look at the pictures from previous Holiday Tour of Homes and it is obvious that this is a treat and delight for so many to enjoy!

This year there are seven homes on the tour. They are all located within Woodstock and accessible by the Woodstock Trolley on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 8 and 9. Each home is professionally decorated for the holidays by local designers. As visitors tour each home, they will be filled with inspiration and ideas to fill their own homes with Christmas decor and cheer.

The seven homes featured in the 18th annual Holiday Tour of Homes are located in The Overlook at Woodstock Knoll, Serenade, and throughout downtown Woodstock. Since 1997 the Junior Service League of Woodstock has put on the Holiday Tour of Homes and raised more than $350,000 to give back to community organizations.Christmas Decor

Tickets are available for $20 for anyone over the age of 2. They can be purchased at Christine’s Creations, House and Garden Boutique, Linden, Brooklyn’s, The Premier Group-Keller Williams Realty, the Towne Lake BP Gas Station, Creative Interiors & Craftworks, House and Garden Boutique, and Creative Interiors and Craftworks. Tickets may be purchased online using PayPal and picked up from will call at the Serenade Home.

Participants are not allowed to take photos or videos in the tour homes.  Guests will also be asked to remove their shoes while walking through the houses, so be sure to wear festive socks!

For details regarding the times and additional information on the Woodstock Holiday Tour of Homes, visit the Junior Service League website and the Facebook page. This is sure to make a fun weekend event to fill your calendar!
