If you are looking for something unique to surprise your someone special this Valentine’s Day, look no further. The Big Chicken Chorus and the Roswell Firehouse Harmony Brigade Chorus have joined together to serenade sweethearts across Atlanta with singing Valentines.
These groups of barbershop quartets will fan out across northwestern metro Atlanta including all of Cherokee county to deliver a rose, a card with your special message and will sing two songs to your loved one. Recipients will be taken back to the early 1900s as the quartets sing songs of the past, including “Heart of My Heart” and “Let Me Call You Sweetheart”. They will also don finely tailored tuxedos.
Locally this tradition has been going on since 1986. Planning starts in December and as many as 13 different sets of quartets are formed to be able to spread out across the area and provide this fun and romantic service within a one to four hour delivery window. Slots fill up fast so don’t delay in making your reservation.
Prices for in person delivery:
- $50.00 for a four hour delivery window
- $70.00 for a two hour delivery window
- $90.00 for a one hour delivery window
For your out of town loved ones, Telephone Valentines can be delivered anywhere in the USA for $25.00.
All proceeds raised go to cover expenses as well as the two organizations community outreach efforts.
