It’s time to bundle up the family and come out to the JJ Biello Park in Woodstock for the fourth annual Canes and Cocoa event! You’ve heard of Easter egg hunts, but have you heard of a Christmas candy hunt? That’s only part of the fun at Canes and Cocoa. After children are separated into age groups and sent out to find treats in the field, on the large playground, and on the small playground, they are invited to the pavillion with their families. While in the pavillion, families enjoy making memories together with hot chocolate and candy canes while visiting with surprise Christmas guests. Families are also welcome to take a ride on the Cherokee Recreation & Parks Agency “Sleigh” (tractor). Join the CRPA for this fun-filled event on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10am. Cost is $5.
The CRPA has additional Holiday events taking place as well. These include Santa Calling and Santa’s Letters, and a chance to swim with the Grinch!
