AMPED in the Park

8-9 a.m at the Northside Cherokee Amphitheater, 101 Arnold Mill Road. Free monthly fitness series presented by Woodstock Parks and Recreation and a monthly community partner. All workouts are fitness friendly (meaning you don’t have to be fit to participate).

A Health and Fitness Fair

September 7

 will follow the monthly AMPED in the Park 8-9 a.m workout session at the Northside Cherokee Amphitheater, 101 Arnold Mill Road, Woodstock. Participants at the fair, which ends at 1 p.m., will enjoy healthy lunch options, fitness demonstrations and other info on fitness and wellness.

Canton Cookout

takes place at Boling Park, beginning at noon. The free event is hosted by Revival South, and includes food trucks, retail vendors, grilling demonstrations, cornhole tournaments, pick-up games of volleyball and kickball, live music and beer. A Canton 9/11 Heroes Run 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run,
