The Georgia Trail of Tears Association

will hold its first 2019 meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the Chieftain’s Museum in Rome. Former association President Jeff Bishop will speak on the causes of the Creek Civil War, also known as the Red Stick War. No charge to attend. The museum is at 501 Riverside Parkway.
