Holiday Lights of Hope in Woodstock

In the Towne Lake community of Woodstock, Hobgood Park is aglow once again for the Holiday Lights of Hope! This is the third annual event that raises money for the Anna Crawford Children’s Center. The Canton-based center provides support to prevent child abuse and neglect. Last year, the proceeds raised from Holiday Lights of Hope helped the Anna Crawford Children’s Center assist more than 500 families throughout the year.

In 2013, more than 12,000 attended this festive fundraiser, which continues to grow. Last year, there were more than 500,000 LED lights and this year’s event boasts more than a million!

While the event is bigger and better, the cost for admission into this “Hometown Christmas Tradition” has remained the same. Entry into the Holiday Lights of Hope is $10 for ages 15 years and older. Admission is free for those 14 and under. Visitors will not get bored as there are numerous sights to see and things to do while visiting the Holiday Lights of Hope, including a vendor village, children’s area, concessions area, Christmas maze, live music and Santa village with the big guy himself. A 30-foot tall Christmas Light tree, 17 foot reindeer, and 15 foot snowman family are among the glowing attractions.
